Lorna Cook centre won the Romantic Novelists' Association's prestigious Joan Hessayon Award for her debut novel The Forgotten Village (Avon). Chair Alison May left and 2018 winner Hannah Begbie presented Cook with the award at the RNA's York Afternoon Tea at Merchant Taylors’ Hall on Saturday 14th September.
