To celebrate the launch of the Richard and Judy Summer Book Club, authors Cathy Rentzenbrink, Lisa Jewell and Paula Hawkins came together on Friday 6th May for a cross-country book tour. Starting at St Pancras station in London, they travelled to Leicester, Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds and York, visiting WHSmith Travel stores to sign stock, meeting fans along the way.

Michael Rosen celebrated his 70th birthday with a party hosted by Andersen Press, Bloomsbury, Penguin Random House and Walker Books at Foyles, Charing Cross Road on Friday 6th May.
Chorleywood Bookshop hosted “Great British Bake Off” star and debut cookery author Chetna Makan for an afternoon of tea and cake inspired by her book The Cardamom Trail (Mitchell Beazley).
On Wednesday 11th May, Penguin Random House Children’s celebrated its 2016 picture book list with showcase event, the Picture Book Feast. Authors and illustrators presenting included Nick Sharratt, Sophy Henn, Steven Butler, Emma Chichester Clark, Nadia Shireen and Ed Vere, pictured with m.d. of PRH Children’s Francesca Dow and publishing director of Puffin Fiction, Amanda Punter (centre).
Octopus imprint Mitchell Beazley launched Eric Lanlard’s Afternoon Tea on Monday 9th May on the MV Britannia cruise ship.
Lanlard also signed copies of the book on board.
