Thousands of primary school students descended on Hay-on-Wye in Wales on Thursday 26th June to mark the start of Hay Festival 2016. The opening two days os the festival give primary and secondary school pupils the chance to experience the festival for free, with special programming funded by Hay Festival Educational Trust and the Welsh Government.
