Bonnier-owned retail chain Pocket Shop has opened a branch in Hammersmith, London today (10th November).
The store is located in the Broadway Shopping Centre, at Hammersmith underground station.
The Swedish company opened its first UK Pocket Shop in Birmingham Airport this summer and a further Pocket Shop will open at Liverpool Street in London at the beginning of December.
Last month, The Bookseller reported that Pocket Shop was to open two new branches.
Paperback chain Pocket Shop was founded in 1989 by Mathias Engdahl. Bonnier bought it in 2012, with Anna Borné Minberger succeeding Engdahl as c.e.o. in 2013. There are around 25 Pocket Shop outlets across Sweden, Germany and Finland, all based in travel hubs such as airports and major train stations.
