Bonnier-owned retail chain Pocket Shop has opened a second London branch in Liverpool Street underground station. Doors opened today (15th December).

The Swedish company opened its first UK Pocket Shop in Birmingham Airport in July, and its first London branch in Hammersmith last month.

Pocket Shop c.e.o. Anna Borné Minberger said: "2016 has been an unusually eventful year for us. We are very happy to end this year by opening yet another shop in England, our second in London, in one of the major travel locations. And we are excited to open it in the period leading up to Christmas.”
Zandra Weldon, purchasing manager at Pocket Shop, said: "Our hand-picked stock holds a range from the obvious bestsellers to that business title you have been looking for - as well as a lovely children’s book for somebody you missed while at work. And despite the shops being small, all Pocket Shops have custom stock to fit their profile and location, e.g. Liverpool Street has a wider range of non-fiction books than some of our other branches, with extra focus on categories like management and biography.”
