Penguin Random House (PRH) Children’s is celebrating the fifth anniversary of Robin Stevens’ Murder Most Unladylike with a signed hardback edition of the first book.
The special edition, due to be released on 6th June (£12.99), will be published with a gold foil case, a map of Deepdean School on the back of the jacket and new content such as a chapter, narrated by Daisy Wells, about her first meeting with Hazel Wong. It will be available to all retailers.
Stevens said: “Having Murder Most Unladylike still in print five years after it was first published is astonishing to me. Seeing that book republished in a commemorative edition is honestly more than I could have imagined in my wildest dreams when I was first working on the book. It is such an incredible privilege to write the stories I do - and it's only possible because of the love and enthusiasm of my fans, and the wonderful support of my publisher. I'm so proud to see Daisy and Hazel go from strength to strength, and I'm excited about what the future holds.”
The seven-book series has reached sales of 450,000 through Nielsen BookScan and rights have sold in 11 territories. The eighth title will be released later this year.
