Penguin Random House has declined to comment on a press report that Prince Harry's forthcoming memoir, which PRH announced it had acquired last week, will be just one title in a four-book deal.
A report in the Daily Mail claimed the deal secured at auction covered multiple titles. Further reports have included suggestions that one is a "wellness" title from Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
A spokesperson for the couple condemned elements of the reporting, which included the suggestion that a further book of memoir from the Prince was planned, as "false and defamatory".
A spokesperson for Transworld, which will publish Prince Harry's memoir in the UK in late 2022, said PRH had no comment to make over and above its original press announcement.
