Puffin has acquired a new picture book "inspired by the mischief and magic" of Roald Dahl stories and illustrated by Quentin Blake.
The new book, Never Grow Up, was written by an in-house creative team and will be published in hardback on 10th June. Puffin acquired UK and Commonwealth text rights from the Roald Dahl Story Company via Anthony Goff and Georgia Glover at David Higham Associates, and illustration rights from Quentin Blake via Millie Hoskins at United Agents.
The publisher said the new book was a "celebration of mischief-makers, rule-breakers, and wild children everywhere" and that the book "encourages readers of any age to embrace the boundless joy of childhood".
It is designed to be "the perfect introduction to one of the world's most celebrated storytellers", and "champions the philosophy of Roald Dahl's stories that the best grown-ups 'never grow-up, always down'".
