Book subscription club Reading in Heels has rebranded as Reposed, promising an immersive experience for members.
The digital book club, launched by former journalists Alice Revel and Caroline Finn (who is no longer involved with the business) in 2017, offers members a monthly book focussing on female writers of contemporary literary fiction. The book box also contains beauty and lifestyle gifts from luxury brands including skincare products, herbal teas, gourmet snacks, and stationery. Parent company The Ampersand Book Company turned over £500,000 last year.
The new-look subscription will give members the option to join Reposed Salon with their friends, which will provide downloadable guides to set up a book club. The guides will include questions and themes to discuss, literary themed cocktail recipes and Spotify playlists.
Revel said: “Two years since we first delivered our first box, Reading in Heels was a name that no longer made sense for us - or, more importantly, for our members. And so, we’ve relaunched with a new name, a new look and a new focus.”
Revel added the boxes are aimed at intelligent, empowered ABC1 females aged 25-34, who understand the importance of self-care and taking time for oneself. A UK subscription to Reposed costs £13.80 for one month, £75 for six months and £145 for a year’s membership.
