Rebecca Yarros announces title of third book in the Empyrean series
Rebecca Yarros has announced the title of the third book in the Empyrean series.
The follow-up to Fourth Wing and Iron Flame will be called Onyx Storm, and will publish on 21st January 2025.
Piatkus Fiction signed a three-book deal with Yarros in 2023. Assistant editor Rebekah West acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Nicole Resciniti at Alliance Rights Agency on behalf of Entangled Publishing.
Yarros was credited for spurring on Hachette UK’s most recent full-year results and took the Official UK number one spot in November 2023 with Iron Flame, giving imprint Piatkus its first-ever overall number one.
She has sold 364,501 books through Nielsen BookScan TCM for £4.8m. Her bestseller is Fourth Wing, which has sold 206,062 copies across all editions for £2.8m.
