Bookouture author Lisa Regan has sold more than three million copies of her books in the Detective Josie Quinn series, according to the publisher.
In January 2018, Bookouture published Vanishing Girls, the first in a US-set police procedural series by Regan. In 2022, Regan signed a 15-book deal with Bookouture, representing at the time of signing five more years of publishing. My Child is Missing, the latest instalment in the Detective Quinn series, will be published on 8th September 2023.
Publisher Jessie Botterill said of the news: “I am absolutely thrilled to see Lisa pass this incredible milestone. Working on the Josie Quinn series has been a delight from day one – and book one – through to 18. It’s easy to see why Lisa’s legions of fans keep coming back for more.”
Bookouture is an e-book publisher. The Bookseller uses Nielsen BookScan TCM to record sales, but these only cover print books.
Regan commented: “Selling three million books is a milestone I never imagined reaching. I am absolutely amazed at the reception that the series has received from readers. Their enthusiasm never fails to surprise and delight me. In addition, this series would never have been so successful without a publisher like Bookouture.
