Currently senior publicity manager at Quercus, she will join the Transworld team on 5th December.

She also worked on the feminist dystopian novel Widowland by C J Carey, and Holocaust survival memoir The Daughter of Auschwitz by Tova Friedman.
She has been shortlisted for multiple PPC awards including most recently Emily Ratajkowski’s global campaign for her debut My Body.
Reid said: “I’m delighted to be joining the prominent literary imprint Doubleday at such an exciting time of growth. Doubleday publishes authors that have been incredibly important to me, including Curtis Sittenfeld and Maggie Shipstead and the list for 2023/2024 will undoubtedly include some of your favourite new reads. It’s an honour to be stepping up as head of publicity and working alongside the industry trailblazer Alison Barrow, from whom I can learn so much and whose campaigns I have admired for years.”
Barrow, PR director at Transworld said: “We are all very excited to have Milly join us, to bring her especial talent, creativity and energy to our list of brilliant books and writers. Personally I am looking forward so much to learning from her considerable experience and insights into building high profile and influential campaigns which amplify profile and drive sales.”
