Rob Waddington on leave of absence as Sarah Roscoe and Philipp Bartscher take on new roles at PRH UK

Rob Waddington, group sales director and managing director of audio at Penguin Random House UK, is taking a leave of absence for medical reasons.

Sarah Roscoe, online, digital and audio sales director, will take over as acting group sales director, and will join the leadership team. Moreover, Philipp Bartscher will oversee audio as strategy director and acting managing director of audio.

In a letter seen by The Bookseller, chief executive officer Tom Weldon said that the company’s priority has been to support Waddington, as well as the sales and audio teams, during this time. 

Weldon also outlined that he will be working with Roscoe and Bartscher as they take on new responsibilities in their roles.
