The Vilnius-born, London-based writer and art historian above is best known for her historical fiction tetralogy Silva Rerum, widely regarded as one of the seminal Lithuanian literary works in this century.
Latvia will be represented by Nora Ikstena, who has published 30 books. Her most recent, Soviet Milk, will be published in the UK by Peirene Press in December.
The Estonian representative is Mihkel Mutt, who is well-known for his “biting irony and hyperbolic wit”, LBF stated.
The trio will participate in events on the second day of the fair (11th April 2018).
LBF also announced it will add a prize for audiobook publishers to its International Excellence Awards, bringing the event’s extent to 16, the bulk of which are open to businesses outside the UK.
