Samantha Hayes moves to Bookouture

Bookouture has acquired two new titles from psychological thriller author Samantha Hayes, who was previously published by Cornerstone.

Commissioning editor Jessie Botterill acquired World English Language rights from Oli Munson at A.M. Heath.

The Reunion, her first title for Bookouture, is a psychological thriller about the gathering together of a group of friends who were all present the day a little girl went missing from the beach. It will publish in February 2018, with a second thriller following in May.

Botterill said: “Sam had me completely gripped from the first word of The Reunion as I found myself caught in a perfectly woven web of secrets, lies and betrayal. There aren’t too many writers out there who can make a thriller so earth-shatteringly real, and I cannot wait to share her new books with old fans and new.”

Hayes added: “I’m absolutely over the moon to be working with Jessie and the dynamic, forward-thinking team at Bookouture. I honestly can’t think of a better home for my books and look forward to thrilling all my loyal readers as well as gaining lots of new fans!”
