Sandstone launches online bookshop

Independent Sandstone Press has today (21st April) launched an online shop for UK readers.

Customers will be able to buy recent publications and multiple books, direct from the publisher. The website also features virtual events, including "Packed Launches" to celebrate new books, and online interviews.

The Inverness-based publisher is opening the online shop "in response to demand from readers whose local bookshops have temporarily closed" due to Covid-19.

Managing director Robert Davidson said: "From all sides I hear how helpful books are in getting through these tough times. This new site closes the gap between Sandstone Press books and their readers during the present crisis, but will also be a core element of our relationship with them well into the future."
