YA fantasy author Sarah J Maas will visit the UK this week to take part in events in London and Edinburgh.
The American writer will speak to 2,000 fans at McEwan Hall in Edinburgh (7th November) and Cadogan Hall in London (9th November), at events run by her publisher Bloomsbury Children’s in partnership with Waterstones to promote her new novel Kingdom of Ash.
Attendees will be be able to buy exclusive event editions of the book and a Waterstones fan art edition, and fifty ticket holders per event will get a chance to meet Sarah and have their book personalised.
Maas is visiting the UK as part of a global tour that started in New York last week. Events have also taken place in Illinois, Texas and California and Maas will visit Australia and New Zealand in 2019.
Kingdom of Ash is the final book in the Throne of Glass series, which charts Aelin Galathynius's journey from slave to assassin to queen. The book is currently top of bestseller charts in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK, where it is number one on the Nielsen Bookscan TCM Children's Bestseller list, according to Bloomsbury.
When the book was released on 23rd October Bloomsbury’s Kingdom of Ash social media posts saw 1.2 million impressions across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr and YouTube.
