Sarah Moore has been promoted to scout at Daniela Schlingmann Literary Scouting Ltd, and Kaye Baginsky joins as a scout in New York.
Moore, who joined the company as associate scout in January 2023, has been promoted to scout in the adult scouting team at DSLS in London. She previously worked at Alfred A Knopf based in London and at Éditions de La Table Ronde and Shakespeare and Company Bookshop in Paris.
Moore works across adult fiction and non-fiction from the UK, the US and other foreign languages. She said: "Ever since joining the company 18 months ago I’ve really thrived in the scouting environment and love what we do. I’m excited for the opportunity to continue to contribute to the talented and hard-working team at DSLS in my new role as a scout."
Daniela Schlingmann, director of the agency, added: "Sarah is a highly dedicated and valued member of our team and we are delighted that she is now stepping up to the level of scout. We are very excited to see what the future will bring for her and for the company."
Additionally, this month Baginsky has joined the company as DSLS’s Scout in New York City from another US scouting agency, and has previously worked as a bookseller at Books of Wonder.
