Sasha Cox is to join Canongate in the role of senior UK sales manager next month, as new hires are made across the department.
Cox (pictured) takes up her new role from 19th October. She joins from Penguin Random House, where, having started selling across the group she moved to working in the sales teams at Cornerstone and Vintage. At Canongate, she will report to Jo Lord, head of UK and digital sales.
She said: "I am thrilled to be joining the brilliant team at Canongate. They are a company I have long admired and I can’t wait to start working with them on their fantastic and varied list."
Two assistants will also be joining the team. Aneesha Batavia will be the new sales operations assistant, reporting to operations manager Nadine Luchsinger. Isobel Leach becomes the new international sales and publishing information assistant, reporting to head of International sales Steph Scott.
Commercial director Jenny Fry said: "This is a great time for us to be bringing new energy, fresh perspective, and proven talent into the company and I’m very pleased to be welcoming Aneesha, Isobel, and Sasha aboard."
