Scholastic unveils special edition set of The Hunger Games series ahead of new film release

Scholastic UK has unveiled a special edition hardback boxed set of The Hunger Games series in anticipation of "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes" film release on 17th November.

The Deluxe Hunger Games Collection, which will be released in October 2023, includes all four books by Suzanne Collins, emblazoned with new artwork and finishes. Featured in the set will be The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay, along with the series prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, which revisits the world of Panem 64 years before the events of The Hunger Games.

The new design for the boxed set and four new editions takes inspiration from Tim O’Brien’s series iconography with new art by Freya Betts, a UK illustrator who works predominantly in the film industry.

TikTok alone boasts over a billion engagements with Hunger Games hashtags and the UK book campaign will include multi-faceted BookTok activity to engage the fandom and new readers.

Scholastic is working in partnership with Lionsgate to deliver brand activations on and off line, linking the launch of the set to the film release.
