Production company See-Saw Films has optioned the screen rights to Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper series of YA graphic novels.
Heartstopper is a series of four books about the love story between Nick and Charlie, two teenagers at an all-boys grammar school in Kent. Oseman initially launched a kickstarter appeal to publish the first book before signing with Hachette Children’s Group, which published book one in February on the Hodder Children’s Books imprint.
See-Saw Films optioned the screen rights from Emily Hayward Whitlock at The Artists Partnership in association with Claire Wilson at RCW.
