Hutchinson has acquired a new book from "wellness pioneers" Nadia Narain and Katia Narain Phillips, entitled Rituals for Every Day.
The book is authored by the duo behind Self-Care for the Real World (Hutchinson) and provides "practical steps" and "easy-to-follow advice" designed to help readers slow down in a busy, modern world through engaging in small, simple and reflective rituals.
"We’ve been overwhelmed with the response to our first book, and one message that we’ve heard time and again from readers is they recognise the need to slow down and create more space in their lives, but they’re just not sure how to do it," the authors said jointly. "We hope our new book will give some practical steps, and easy-to-follow advice, on how practising simple rituals can help you press the pause button on the pace of modern life."
Pippa Wright, rights director, commissioned the book directly from the authors for an undisclosed sum. She said: "Working with Nadia and Katia has been an education in how two incredibly busy working women have learned to make space in their lives for the quiet, reflective moments that we all need. I begged them to write a new book that would share their simple strategies for celebrating and commemorating these moments, big and small."
Rituals for Every Day will be published by Hutchinson on 27th December 2018 as an illustrated £14.99 hardcover.
