Seltmann Publishers has signed with GMC Distribution (GMC), having increasingly shifted its focus on design calendars and stationery from the areas of photography, lifestyle, art and design as demand has risen.
The Seltmann list includes products including the Things I Have Drawn memo game by Tom Curtis (@thingsihavedrawn), whose children’s drawings morphed into lifelike pictures gained him nearly one million followers on Instagram. It also publishes The Art of Vinyl Covers series, as well as the True Originals book, a fan homage to the original Adidas® models, the so-called ‘OGs’ – original Adidas® basketball, tennis and running shoes from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.
GMC sells a wide range of books across both traditional trade and specialist craft and gift markets. Its other clients include Blue Star Press, Sasquatch Books, Watson-Guptill, MMR, Tuva Publishing, GMC Publications, The Taunton Press, Astra Publishing House, NuiNui, and Monsa Publications.
Oliver Seltmann, publisher at Seltmann Publishers, said: "We are delighted to be presenting our popular calendars, books and non-books in the UK again. And we are very happy to have found a great and professional partner in GMC that is a perfect fit for us and our products. As in any good relationship, you must understand and appreciate each other from the start. And that is absolutely the case. We are looking forward to spending a successful time together."
GMC’s sales director Michael Robb said: "We are very pleased to be selling Seltmann’s exciting list of gift titles, and the addition of these products will mean we can bring an even greater range of gift ideas for all occasions to the UK retail market."
