Seven Dials, part of the Orion Publishing Group, will publish Perfect Pasta at Home by Finn Lagun and Roberta D’Elia, co-founder and head chef at meal subscription service Pasta Evangelists.
Founded in 2014, Pasta Evangelists has gone from strength to strength and during lockdown and over one million food boxes were delivered in 2020 alone, says the publisher. The team's first book will feature more than 80 recipes that require only 30 minutes or under to cook. The cookbook will including customer favourites such as "Ultimate Lasagne", "Four Cheese Gnocchi", and "Pappardelle with Venetian Duck Ragù". Vegetarian and vegan options will also be included.
Ru Merritt, senior editor, acquired world rights directly from the authors. The cookbook will be published on 10th June 2021.
Merritt commented: "I have been a long-time fan of the Pasta Evangelists and I’ve never had a recipe from one of their their boxes that I didn’t love. That’s why I knew we needed to publish their cookbook – they provide the perfect blend of authentic yet delicious recipes and, even better, they can be ready from pot to plate in under half an hour."
Lagun said: "Today we are delighted to share the original recipes of some of our customers’ best-loved pasta dishes. Many of these have been passed down directly from the grandmothers of those in our own team, so they’re very close to our hearts and full of love."
