David Shelley, the c.e.o. of Hachette UK, will be discussing publishing, leadership and innovation at the 2023 FutureBook conference on 27th November.
From next year, Shelley will become the c.e.o. of Hachette Book Group in the US, while also continuing to preside over the UK business. The move is part of a new management structure and comes as Hachette’s parent company is to be acquired by the French media group Vivendi.
At this year’s AI-focused FutureBook Conference, Shelley will be doing a live recording with Simon Mundie, whose "Life Lesson Podcast" has over three million downloads annually. The conference will be held at County Hall in Waterloo, London.
