Film adaptations of Sherlock Holmes and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo have made the shortlist for this years Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards.
Inception and District 9 also make up the Film Dagger category, with Ashes to Ashes, Luther, Sherlock and Wallander up for the TV gong.
These film and TV categories join the finalists in the book category which were previously announced, with the likes of Belinda Bauer, Scott Turow and Simon Lelic making the shortlists.
