Building on their first romance TikTok creator house, Simon & Schuster UK is launching a consumer-facing event, which will include BookTok influencers, taking place at the Nottingham Playhouse on Friday 5th July.
S&S promises "exclusive looks” at the event with the publisher’s biggest upcoming romance titles, including UK-originated titles Under Your Spell by Laura Wood and Date With Destiny by Lucy Vine, as well as “bespoke merchandise, interactive workshops and additional surprises that romance readers will love”. S&S UK will also be working with retailers on specific activity, with details to come.
Sarah Jeffcoate, marketing manager at S&S UK, said: “The biggest piece of feedback we received from our creator house last year was that people wished they were able to attend. They spoke, and we listened, and we are so excited to be working with the Pitch Agency and the Nottingham Playhouse to put on an event that we know our brilliant BookTok community and romance fans will absolutely adore. We can’t wait to bring together both readers and influencers with our authors, and create something magical.”
