Zadie Smith, Mary Beard, Maggie O’Farrell and Peter Frankopan will be among the many speakers at the Cliveden Literary Festival from 30th September to 1st October.
Taking place at the historic Cliveden House in Berkshire, this year’s festival features writers and thinkers including Katherine Rundell, Tom Holland, Marlon James and Jonathan Freedland.
The event aims to continue "the rich literary heritage" of Cliveden House, which has inspired writers and thinkers from Alexander Pope and Alfred Lord Tennyson, to George Bernard Shaw and Sir Winston Churchill.
Now in its seventh year, the festival is run by a committee of writers and historians, comprising Andrew Roberts, Natalie Livingstone, Catherine Ostler and Simon Sebag Montefiore.
Priority bookers were given early access to festival tickets, with the wider public able to book from Monday 31st July.
