The Soho Agency has promoted Marina de Pass and Niamh O’Grady to associate agents.
De Pass joined the agency in 2016 after working for several years in the editorial departments of Little, Brown and HarperCollins. She is actively looking for commercial and book-club fiction and will also continue to work closely with agent Araminta Whitley on her client list.
O’Grady joined the agency in 2015, having worked as a Waterstones bookseller in Manchester. She is actively looking for accessible literary fiction, narrative non-fiction, Irish and Northern writing talent. She will continue to support agents Mark Lucas and Alice Saunders.
The Soho Agency managing director Philippa Milnes-Smith said: “Both Marina and Niamh have been invaluable members of our team for some years and we are delighted that they will now be developing their own distinctive client lists in addition to their existing roles.”
