Simon & Schuster UK has signed a six-figure deal for two new novels from Catherine Isaac, with the first novel, A Blanket of Stars, scheduled for first publication in summer 2019.
Jo Dickinson, publishing director for fiction and audio, agreed the six-figure deal for UK and Commonwealth rights, including audio, with Sheila Crowley at Curtis Brown.
A Blanket of Stars is set between Italy and the UK, focusing on a family coming to terms with secrets in its past.
Isaac’s latest novel You Me Everything was published by Simon & Schuster UK on 19th April, and foreign rights have been sold in 20 territories so far. It has been optioned for a film by Temple Hill and Lionsgate.
Dickinson said: "You Me Everything is a novel everyone at Simon & Schuster UK is incredibly excited about. The depth and emotional impact of Catherine’s writing is phenomenal, and so I am thrilled to have acquired two more stunning books to continue to grow Catherine’s sales and profile."
