Manchester Central Library has partnered with representatives from Simon & Schuster UK and HarperNorth to host a one-day festival aimed at encouraging romance readers to discover new authors.
Love Stories Etc… will take place on Saturday 13th July with panels, workshops and book signings.
The full author line-up will be released in the upcoming weeks, with Milly Johnson and Cesca Major already confirmed. Festival goers will be able to buy a one-day ticket for seven author panels.
There will also be workshops for budding romance writers wanting to learn more about getting published and a talk for people interested in working in the publishing industry.
Sara-Jade Virtue, brand development director at S&S, said: “Championing writers and readers of love stories is a huge passion of mine, and the Love Stories Etc… festival is the culmination of many months of discussion amongst members of the #RespectRomFic Movement that I am honoured to lead in collaboration with the Romantic Novelists’ Association. Alice Murphy-Pyle at HarperNorth and I have curated what we believe to be the most exciting line-up of 26 incredible authors – all in one place, on one day - and we can’t wait to bring their love stories to the beautiful Manchester Central Library in July.’
Manchester Central Library will remain open to the general public throughout the festival. Tickets will be available soon from librarylive.co.uk.
