S&S UK buys Adam Silvera fantasy

Simon & Schuster Children’s UK has acquired two books in the Infinity Cycle series by Adam Silvera.

Senior commissioning editor Lucy Rogers acquired UK and Commonwealth rights to two books from Jean McGinley and Rachel Horowitz at HarperCollins US and will publish Infinity Son in January 2020 in paperback. The second book, as yet untitled, will follow in 2021.

Silvera said Infinity Son, the first book in the series, is a “love letter anyone who has ever dreamed of waking up with powers” and “pretty damn queer” and added “Infinity Son has already brought happiness to my soul, and nothing would make it more fulfilling than inspiring others to realize they’ve been heroes all along too.”
