Downton Abbey actress and debut author Catherine Steadman has made the pick for the W H Smith Richard and Judy Book Club with former Book Club authors Michael Connelly and Shari Lapena returning to the fold.
Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan today launch their latest Book Club list, exclusive to W H Smith, available online and in W H Smith stores across the country.
Toronto-based author and former Book Club author Lapena, kicks off the new campaign with her latest gothic novel An Unwanted Guest (Bantam).
Bestselling author Connelly, also recognised in the Book Club in 2006 with Lincoln Lawyer (Orion), makes a comeback to this latest selection with Dark Sacred Night (Orion), the 21st novel in the Harry Bosch series.
Downton Abbey actress Steadman's debut novel Something in the Water (Simon & Schuster) has also been selected for the latest instalment of the Richard and Judy Book Club alongside Bristish-born Australian author Jane Harper with The Lost Man (Little, Brown).
Elly Griffiths’ The Stranger Diaries (Quercus) has also made the list with An Unsuitable Woman, written by Kat Gordon (The Borough Press) the final title to join the latest Book Club.
The Book Club launches with another series of podcasts as well as an exclusive interview with each of the authors.
