Emma Steel has been appointed head of Every Cherry, a new imprint with children’s publisher Sweet Cherry which will publish books specifically for the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities community.
The imprint’s first books will be published in spring 2024 with Steel responsible for shaping the vision at Every Cherry. She commented: "Every Cherry is such an exciting new imprint, and I’m thrilled to be managing it. I can’t wait to see how our launch range is received by the community! Watching children and young people with a wide range of learning differences read books in a way that suits them will not only be life-changing, but it’ll be a revolutionary step towards a fully inclusive publishing landscape."
