US firm Sterling Publishing has entered into a distribution arrangement with Pinnacle Booksales for distribution in the UK of Union Square & Co’s books.
The agreement includes Union Square & Co and its affiliates Union Square Kids, Puzzlewright and Sterling Ethos. Pinnacle will also oversee the publishing house’s distribution further into Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia via its partnership with SaltWay Global. The new partnership comes into effect on 1st July.
Emily Meehan, chief creative officer and publisher, said: “Union Square & Co is publishing in a new direction across adult and children’s titles with a focus on fiction and narrative and illustrated non-fiction. Pinnacle is perfectly poised to support us in this endeavour by reaching new markets and accounts.”
Pinnacle, led by m.d. David Segrue, sells to Waterstones and W H Smith Travel, independent bookshops, all museums and galleries in London, non-traditional accounts such as Anthropologie and Cass Art, and wholesalers such as Gardners and Bookspeed.
