Storm Publishing has announced that Greyhound Literary will represent translation rights in all languages for the publisher, effective immediately.
The publisher, founded in September 2022 by Oliver Rhodes, the founder and former c.e.o. of Bookouture, said it expects to release more than 70 titles with world rights in 2023. Its first books will be published in May 2023.
Publisher Kathryn Taussig, who is responsible for overseeing rights at Storm, said of the move: “I was so impressed with Greyhound Literary’s clear vision for Storm’s international publishing. Sam Edenborough brings a huge wealth of experience to the job – our authors’ translation rights really couldn’t be in safer hands. Greyhound is a young but already incredibly inspiring agency, and the perfect fit to launch Storm’s list internationally.”
Sam Edenborough, co-owner and rights director at Greyhound, a London-based literary agency, said: “When the chance to work with Storm came along, we leapt at the chance. Oliver and Kathryn have assembled the most amazing team.
“Their energy, clear sense of the market and commitment to publishing distinctive, addictive storytellers are irresistible qualities. At Greyhound we will relish the business of finding new international audiences for Storm’s authors in translation and we can’t wait to start talking to editors around the world about their list.”
