Studio Press acquires guide to maximalism from interiors star Murphy

Studio Press, an imprint of Bonnier Books UK, has acquired More is More Décor by interior designer and Instagrammer Siobhan Murphy. 

Stephanie Milton, head of Studio Press, acquired world rights directly from the author, with publication scheduled for September 2022. 

More is More Décor is an interior design handbook for maximalists that will show readers how their fashion tastes can influence their interior design.  

Murphy is a West Yorkshire based interior designer, stylist, Instagrammer, writer and a "self-confessed maximalist". She was a finalist on BBC and Netflix's "Interior Design Masters" season two and also writes an interiors column for OK! Magazine.

She commented: "My aim is to inspire the reader to be brave and throw the interiors rule book out of the window as they revamp their interiors – and maybe even their entire lifestyle. Readers will be encouraged to explore their wardrobe, to discover the colours, textures, patterns and prints that bring happiness into their life, and then transfer these elements into their home décor – something I did a few years ago and I have never been more confident, happy and free."
