The Bookseller will publish a third Black Issue on 26th May 2023, guest edited by associate editor Natasha Onwuemezi.
Submissions are now being welcomed for the issue, including interviews, features and opinion pieces. Onwuemezi is looking for pieces focusing on Black people and topics within the book trade.
Pitches from writers including authors, agents, editors, industry employees and booksellers should be sent to natasha.onwuemezi@gmail.com by 14th April 2023.
A preview of books by Black authors and illustrators will also be published in the same issue. Book submissions, for titles to be published between May 2023 and April 2024, should be sent to The Bookseller by 14th April 2023.
