Jessie Sullivan is joining The School of Life (TSOL) as head of marketing and communications as the press side of the organisation continues to grow.
She makes the move from Head of Zeus, where she is currently head of marketing.
Starting in the role on 9th May, Sullivan will be be responsible for driving awareness of the TSOL brand and increasing sales of titles through multi-channel marketing strategies.
At Head of Zeus, Sullivan has headed up the global marketing strategy. She won the Book Marketing Society Multi-Title Campaign award in 2020 and was shortlisted for Marketing Strategy of the Year at the British Book Awards in 2021. Head of Zeus has been shortlisted twice in this year’s British Book Awards, for Page-Turner of the Year and Imprint of the Year, and the judges for both awards identified the marketing as a key factor for the shortlisting.
Sullivan’s appointment at The School of Life is part of the company’s aim to continue to grow its trade presence, reach a broader readership and position itself as a "leading voice" in helping people navigate emotions and the challenges of modern life.
