Headline publicity manager Phoebe Swinburn is moving to Midas PR after five years at the Hachette imprint.
Swinburn will join Midas in May as an account manager working in the books team. She is the second person to move from Headline to the PR firm in recent months after communications director Georgina Moore's departure was announced in February.
Joining Headline in 2014 as a publicity assistant, Swinburn moved up the ranks to become publicity manager in May last year. During her time at the firm, she worked on campaigns including Rachel Roddy’s Two Kitchens, all four of Charlotte Crosby’s books, The Girl in the Letter by Emily Gunnis and The World According to Foggy by Carl Fogarty, for which she was shortlisted for the Publishers Publicity Circle’s Best Sports Book Campaign award.
Steven Williams, joint c.e.o of Midas, said: “Phoebe has been involved in a number of high profile campaigns in her book PR career to date. Her drive and commitment to achieve results, and her popularity with her authors and colleagues alike, bodes very well for her new career here at Midas. We are delighted that she is joining the team.”
Last week, Headline announced Louise Swannell would become the imprint’s new publicity director, with Rosie Margesson and Alara Delfosse joining as publicity managers.
