James Tavendale has joined Ameet Publishing, the strategic publishing partner for the Lego Group, as international sales director for the Lego Books imprint across EMEA markets.
Tavendale has worked in publishing for over 25 years, holding senior sales, licensing and editorial roles at publishers including Quarto, Bonnier and Egmont. For the past four years he has served as chief content officer at reading app Pickatale.
Piotr Modlinski, founder and c.e.o. of Ameet, said: “I am very pleased that James is joining our team at a time when Lego Books has its most ambitious publishing programme to date, and the Build Bigger Stories campaign later this year.
