Watkins Media’s science fiction and fantasy imprint Angry Robot has hired a new commissioning editor, Eleanor Teasdale, who joins from literary agency Greene and Heaton.
Teasdale was previously a literary agent with a focus on speculative fiction.
"After briefly running away to the circus at 18, Eleanor decided that publishing was a bit more her speed rather than trying to wrangle Strong Men and herd the angry goose,” Angry Robot said. "She is a voracious reader and is hugely passionate about Science Fiction and Fantasy."
Angry Robot is a global imprint focused on adult science fiction and fantasy, launching its book line in 2009. The books are sold worldwide by Penguin Random House in US/Canada and Simon & Schuster in Australia and New Zealand.
Watkins Media also includes a magazine publishing business, as well as other imprints across its books business, and is based in central London.
