The Bookseller has unveiled a packed Children’s Conference programme featuring Cally Poplak, m.d. and publisher at HarperCollins Children’s and Farshore, managing director of Sourcebooks Dominique Raccah and Waterstones Children’s Laureate Joseph Coelho.
Taking place on 2nd October 2023, Poplak will be delivering a keynote entitled “Publishing with Purpose”, while in her keynote Raccah will share her mission to change lives through books.
There will also be inspirational talks from Coelho, Nibbie-winner Katherine Rundell and award-winning author Elle McNicoll, as well as case studies covering audience insight, children’s audio, brand-building and outside-the-box commissioning.
In-depth panel discussions will cover everything from subscription boxes to TV adaptations to libraries, charts analysis and much more. Speakers will include Lizzie Catford, director of children’s books at BookTrust; Francesca Young, children’s publishing manager at DK and Tom Fickling, m.d. of The Phoenix Comic.
In person and virtual tickets are available now. Tickets include anytime access to all of the video content from every session. If attending in person, ticket holders will receive all of the conference videos direct to their inbox the next day.
