The Bookseller launches survey on author welfare practices

The Bookseller is inviting authors to discuss their experience of publication and author welfare via a new survey. 

Launched today (Monday, 27th March), our short online questionnaire aims to explore whether authors feel they were supported by the publishing industry prior to, during and after the publication of their début book.

It will also ask whether the publication process impacted their mental health and how agents and publishers can better support début authors.

The results of the survey will be included in a news report on The Bookseller’s website. To take part in our research, please fill out the survey online by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, 2nd April.
