Theresa Park and Celeste Fine, co-founders of Park & Fine Literary and Media, along with Kimberly Brower, founder of Brower Literary & Management, are launching Park, Fine & Brower Literary Management for authors writing across genres.
Park and Fine have represented hardcover fiction, non-fiction, and children’s authors whose books cross over into blockbuster television and film, while Brower has been cultivating trade paperback and self-published fiction authors.
The founders have represented authors like Cecelia Ahern, Lauren Asher, Kelly Bishop, Benny Blanco, Adalyn Grace and Taylor Jenkins Reid, among many others.
Co-CEOs Fine and Brower and managing partner Andrea Mai will lead a broadly experienced group of partners, including Park, Peter Knapp, Abigail Koons, John Maas, Sarah Passick and Emily Sweet, all who share a commitment to help authors "enjoy creative, ambitious and sustainable careers that last a lifetime".
On the expansion, Fine said: "As an independently funded agency – led by women who have spent more than 20 years focused entirely on authors and their books – we have built an industry-leading literary agency in direct response to the real world of publishing today with a clear vision of what publishing will be over the next 20 years. As we look ahead, inspired by increased enthusiasm from readers across every generation and demographic, this literary agency has never been stronger or more visionary and is positioned decades ahead of the marketplace."
Brower added: "As we navigate a constantly changing business, what I am most looking forward to is working with some of the most exceptional and experienced people in publishing, where collectively we have the same shared commitment to the authors. Together we will continue to push boundaries to ensure that our authors will have every opportunity to create and continue long careers."
