Tom Hollander, who appeared in the BBC’s adaptation of The Night Manager and Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, is reading the audiobook for John le Carré's new novel A Legacy of Spies.
A Legacy of Spies is the first novel in over 25 years to feature le Carré's character George Smiley of the British Secret Service. It publishes with Viking, as announced in March, following two predecessors on which it looks back: The Spy Who Came in from the Cold and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
The audiobook narrated by Hollander will be published in digital download on 7th September and in CD on 5th October 2017.
The BBC’s adaptation of le Carré’s 1993 novel, The Night Manager, was watched by 10 million people in the UK. "The Night Manager" producers, The Ink Factory, are now producing a new series of The Spy Who Came in from the Cold to be released in 2018.
