Independent children’s publisher Sweet Cherry has announced a raft of promotions with Tori Cotton stepping up to head of licensing, Lizzie Cameron moving up to senior rights and export sales manager and Ashleigh Bunker promoted to production executive.
In her previous role, Cotton worked on the Maggie Sparks series, now licensed intellectual property with Larkshead Licensing, and led on other Sweet Cherry licensing projects including Numberblocks, Alphablocks and Colourblocks. Sophie Jones has also been promoted to senior designer and Kirsty Topley has stepped up designer level.
Cotton commented: "It’s a privilege to work with the inspiring brands, agents and licensors in our list, not to mention our talented in-house team. I look forward to forging new partnerships, building our licensed Maggie Sparks and Mula and Friends series, and helping shape the future of Sweet Cherry Publishing!"
Publisher Sanjee de Silva added: "Tori brings such invaluable insight and expertise to the team that bringing her up to management level was a natural next step to take. Her contributions have been nothing short of incredible as commissioning editor, so the wider team of cherries and I are immensely excited to see what she can do as head of licensing.”
