Trapeze and Ordnance Survey will publish their third puzzle book together, The Ordnance Survey Great British Treasure Hunt, in November.
Publisher Jamie Coleman acquired world rights from Adam Gauntlett at PFD. The title will be published in paperback on 12th November 2020.
In The Ordnance Survey Great British Treasure Hunt, Aunt Bea will act as a travel guide around Great Britain as readers work through the book for the chance to solve the master puzzle and enter a draw to win a prize.
The book includes puzzles, brainteasers, navigational tests, word games, code-crackers, anagrams and mathematical conundrums alongside 40 of Ordnance Survey’s regional maps. The book will also feature a foreword by TV presenter Julia Bradbury.
Coleman said: "Taking readers on a puzzle adventure around Britain has taken on special significance this year. I can’t wait for readers to encounter this book and the huge variety of treasures contained within it. There’s something for everyone here, and we just know it’ll be one of those classic Boxing Day books for the whole family."
Nick Giles, m.d., Ordnance Survey Leisure, commented: "Our previous books with Trapeze have proved tremendously popular and with this twist on a treasure hunt, we think it’ll be the perfect Christmas present for the whole family. We can’t wait for customers to get their hands on it!"
Trapeze has previously published The Ordnance Survey Puzzle Book (2018) and The Ordnance Survey Puzzle Tour of Britain (2019).
