French indie Éditions Caurette has joined forces with Turnaround Publisher Services to distribute its illustrated titles in the UK and Ireland.
Éditions Caurette specialises in artbooks, sketchbooks, monographs, gaming art and artists' editions, alongside selected graphic novels and cartoon books in both English and French.
Among its titles are Worlds by Raphael Lacoste, a BAFTA nominee and winner of three games design awards, senior art director at Ubisoft for the Assassin's Creed franchise, who has also worked on feature films including "Terminator Salvation" and "Jupiter Ascending".
It has also published Steve McCurry, NYC 9/11 by Korean comics artist Kim Jung Gi and Elsewhere by Danish artist Jesper Ejsing, best known for his "Magic: The Gathering" and "Dungeons & Dragons" artwork.
The books will be released through Turnaround from July.
Chief executive Jean-Christophe Caurette said: "We believe we’re one of the only publishers in the world able to offer these kinds of titles by these kinds of artists. We chose Turnaround, not just because they understand our market but also because of the personal service they offer."
Marketing director of Turnaround Claire Thompson added: "The addition of Caurette brings a unique new category of books to our catalogue, that will be welcomed by gamers and fans of illustration and the illustration process."
