Vintage to reissue US Vice President Kamala Harris' 'galvanising' memoir
Vintage to reissue US Vice President Kamala Harris’ memoir The Truths We Hold: An American Journey with the US cover and a "major" campaign.
Originally published in 2019 by The Bodley Head, the new edition will be published in paperback, e-book and audio with an "ambitious" digital campaign and a "far-reaching" influencer mailing.
Harris’ memoir recounts her background and upbringing in Oakland, California. The synopsis continues: "As she rose to prominence as one of the political leaders of our time, her experiences would become her guiding light as she grappled with an array of complex issues and learned to bring a voice to the voiceless... Drawing on the hard-won wisdom and insight from her own career and the work of those who have most inspired her, Kamala communicates a vision of shared struggle, shared purpose, and shared values as we confront the great work of our day."
The Truths We Hold also explores Harris’ worldview and her resistance to the politics of Donald Trump.
